Destiny 2: Igneous Hammer God Roll

Season 22, the Season of the Witch, has finally arrived in Destiny 2. It has also brought new exotics, seasonal activities, a reprised Raid, and, of course, a bunch of Legendary weapons. That is not just it. With the S22 Update, Bungie has brought one of the best Hand Cannons in Destiny 2. I am obviously talking about the Igneous Hammer and the Igneous Hammer (Adept).

For people who don’t know, Igneous Hammer is a 120 Rounds-per-minute Solar Hand Cannon with a Magazine Size of 9. Let us know quicky look at the God Rolls for Igenous Hammer and Igneous Hammer Adept:

Igneous Hammer God Roll for PvP

Igneous Hammer is a Trials weapon, which means people are primarily going to farm it for PvP. Here are the best rolls:

  • Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling (We will be needing a bit of Handling along with Range and Stability.)
  • Magazine: Ricochet Rounds (For more Range and Stability.)
  • Trait #1: Keep Away/Rapid Hit (I personally prefer Keep Away because it helps me take on Pulse Rifles).
  • Trait #2: Opening Shot (Your Range touches 100 with Keep Away and Opening Shot.)
  • Origin Trait: It doesn’t really matter
  • Masterwork: Stability (Since you don’t have to worry about Range anymore, you can focus on Stability.)
  • Mod: Targeting Adjuster (+5 Aim Assistance.)

With +20 Aim Assistance from Opening Shot and +5 AA from Targeting Adjuster, your Aim Assistance is going to touch 94, which is one of the highest in the game.

Igneous Hammer God Roll

Igneous Hammer (Adept) God Roll for PvP

  • Barrel: Small Bore (We have other places to focus Handling on.)
  • Magazine: Ricochet Rounds (For more Range and Stability.)
  • Trait #1: Keep Away/Rapid Hit (If you get Opening Shot, you won’t need Keep Away).
  • Trait #2: Opening Shot (Your Range touches 100 with Opening Shot.)
  • Origin Trait: It doesn’t really matter
  • Masterwork: Handling (We don’t need to worry about Stability and Range; we already have those covered.)
  • Mod: Adept Handling (The Hand Cannon will feel extremely snappy.)

Igneous Hammer God Roll for PvE

120 RPM Hand Cannons are not really recommended for PvE, but here we go:

  • Barrel: Fluted Barrel (15 Handling and +5 Stability. For PvE, we don’t really need Range. So try to focus on Handling.)
  • Magazine: Appended Mag (+2 ammo to the mag.)
  • Trait #1: Keep Away/Rapid Hit (Both perks help with Reload Speed, which is recommended, as the base Reload speed is very slow.)
  • Trait #2: Incandescent (Duh!)
  • Origin Trait: One Quiet Moment
  • Masterwork: Handling
  • Mod: Backup Mag (+3 ammo to the mag.)

With Appended Mag and Backup Mag, the Magazine Size of Igneous Hammer reaches 14.

Igneous Hammer (Adept) God Roll for PvE

  • Barrel: Fluted Barrel
  • Magazine: Appended Mag (+2 ammo to the mag.)
  • Trait #1: Keep Away/Rapid Hit
  • Trait #2: Incandescent
  • Origin Trait: One Quiet Moment
  • Masterwork: Handling
  • Mod: Adept Big Ones Spec (More damage against the Champions)

How to get Igneous Hammer is Destiny 2 (September 2023)

To get the Igneous Hammer, you just have to play Trials of Osiris in Season 22. You can claim one from Saint-14 once you reach Rank 16 with Saint. Once you have the weapon in your collection, use the Trials Engrams to focus Igneous Hammer from Saint.

To get the Igneous Hammer (Adept) you will have to go Flawless during the week when Igneous Hammer (Adept) is dropping.
