The open-world RPG Cyberpunk 2077 features a lot of luxury cars apart from the standard ones and can be acquired in the game, too! However, getting a few of them might prove to be a bit difficult from the others. There are many ways to get cars in the game, the easiest being simply hijacking one. To your advantage, there are a lot of ways to steal also!

How can you hijack cars in Cyberpunk 2077?
Before you head out to hijack a car, it is best to know a bit about the prerequisites and the details. So, here they are.
To hijack cars in the game, players will first have to choose whether they want to steal a preoccupied one or a parked one. For the parked one, you will have to have enough Technology attribute points, which will enable you to hack its controls. Note that the number of points depends on the type of car you want to hijack. However, to hijack a preoccupied one, you must have enough Body attribute points to hijack its controls. The luxury cars require more points than the standard ones.
Additionally, you should know once the mission ends or if you move too far from it or travel fast. The hijacked car disappears. Moreover, you cannot even access the car from your phone or store it in your garage. You can only keep cars you acquire or purchase at the end of that mission.
Now we get to the main part: how exactly can you hijack cars in the game Cyberpunk 2077.
Now that you have the prerequisites, we get to steal the car. Talking about a parked one, head to it, and a button will prompt. If you are on a PC like me, then it is the F button, so press that button. This prompt should say ‘Break In’ and display the number of Technology points required to break in successfully. That is pretty much it.
Now, talking about the preoccupied ones, head up to it again and press the prompt button, just like in the case of a parked one. This should read ‘Take Control’ and will read the number of Body points required to hijack the car.
