Borderlands 3 – How to get AutoAime
The AutoAime is a Sniper Rifle of the Legendary or Orange rarity in Borderlands 3. The weapon arrived with the Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC along with the ION CANNON, Lucky 7 and some other Legendaries. And if you are a Fl4k user then you should definitely consider this weapon.
So what is so special about the AutoAime? Well, apart from being fully automatic, the bullets shot from this weapon will home in towards the enemies. The name is pretty self explanatory, Auto Aim.
You will have to land your shots somewhat closer to the enemies in order for the bullets to hit them. But, there is an issue. The homing bullets hit the middle of the enemies so you won’t be seeing critical damage unless you are at the face of your enemies. That is why you need Fl4k’s Fade Away ability for this. So that you can just jump around the map, shooting enemies, without having to care about aiming at them.
Lets take a look at the description of the AutoAime. The one shown here is the Shocking Vigilant AutoAime(Level 50):

AutoAime – Drop Location
The good thing is AutoAime has a dedicated drop source and it is in fact a guaranteed drop. If you want to get the AutoAime then you have to go and farm a boss called Freddie the Traitor. You can find Freddie the Traitor at the VIP TOWER at The Handsome Jackpot. Here is the exact location:
One thing you have to remember that the AutoAime is exclusive to the Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC. Which is a paid DLC. So in order to get this weapon you have to either get the Season Pass or get a Super Deluxe Edition of the game or buy the DLC separately(available at the Epic Games store).
