After the latest update 1.1.0 in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the arrow quivers are getting bugged and players are losing arrows.
A Quiver Bug is causing Players to lose Arrows in AC Valhalla
What is this bug all about?
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is probably one of the best titles in the AC franchise and there is no doubt in that. But that doesn’t take away the fact even after all this time, the game is filled with bugs and glitches. Whenever the developers drop a patch in AC Valhalla, it fixes few stuff. But it also breaks some in return. And that is exactly what has happened after the arrival of the patch 1.1.0.
The quiver bug is a newly surfaced bug in AC Valhalla that is causing the arrow quivers to lose the upgrades and sending them back to level 1. As a result the maximum amount of arrows that players can carry is also getting decreased. The bug is also making the quivers completely vanish in some cases. Forum user /Apollosh was the first to post about this bug and here is what the user has to say:
Dear all
My max. amount of arrows (for every bow) is now – since the patch – on a minimum (like on the beginning) even the quiver is on max level. Are you experiencing the same?
Following, all I’ve tried so far for solving the arrow problem. Everything even after creating a new manually savegame and do multiple reboot, while online:
- Tried with completely different clothing and completely different weapon
- Tried with completely different bow
- by resetting all skills
- by resetting / removing all abilities
This, in all kind of combination, without any result.

I have this issue too.
The one thing I have noticed though is that the quiver is missing from the hip, it’s just a handful of loose arrows “glued” to the hip…. it feels related to the problem!

Since the last patch, the quiver is acting as though it is level 1 (5 predator arrows max, 12 hunter arrows max, 20 light arrows max), but I upgraded it to level 6.
Upgrading it again doesn’t help (at least from level 5 to level 6).
it does, however, take the resources I pay and displays it as if it is level 6.
is there a solution to this?
How to fix the Quiver bug?
Update [1/15/2021] : The new 1.1.1 Update is here. It has fixed this bug but another quiver bug has popped up. Check out this link to know about it. We do not have a fix for that yet.
An user did manage to fix this issue. Let’s take a look at the fix suggested by forum user /Swift_Pint:
- Return to Vinland
- Shoot off all the arrows you have
- Unequip your bow
- Return to Ravensthorpe then buy all the arrows.
Once you are done the quivers will be back up to full capacity.
Here is the link to the original post with the fix. The good news is that a lot of users have tried this fix and all of them have confirmed that it works. Considering how slow Ubisoft is with patching bugs, I wouldn’t recommend waiting for them to release an official fix.
