Wedding Invitation is a Sniper Rifle of the Legendary or Orange rarity in Borderlands 3. The weapon arrived with Broken Hearts Day event, which is the Valentine’s Day event in Borderlands. The Wedding Invitation is hands down one of the best Sniper Rifles in the game and you should definitely try it out.
So, what is so special about the Wedding Invitation? Well, it is a legendary Jakobs sniper rifle and it obviously deals high critical damage. Apart from that it refunds bullets and the bullets ricochet on critical hits.
The Wedding Invitation shoots Fire elemental bullets but the bullets, when they ricochet deal Cryo damage. And they also deal about a 100% of the damage of the initial shot.

Where to find Wedding Invitation
The Wedding Invitation is a Broken Hearts Day event exclusive. Which means you can only obtain this weapon during the Valentine’s Day event. It is still unknown whether this Sniper Rifle would be available after the Broken Hearts Day event or not.
The Broken Hearts day is a seasonal event that runs from February 13 to 20. There are a lot of rewards that you can get during this event and the Wedding Invitation is one of the rewards of this event.
Here is how to get the Wedding Invitation:
- Launch the game
- Select Play
- Enable Broken Hearts Day from the Play menu
- Start the game
- Go to Sanctuary
- Talk to Maurice and start the Broken Hearts Day event
- She will ask you to collect some Hearts
- These Hearts can be found floating almost everywhere
- Just go to a location where there are a lot of enemies and you will find what you need
- To start getting your rewards you will have to shoot or “break” these Hearts
- 25 Hearts – Cosmic Romance weapon trinket
- 50 Hearts – Legendary Maliwan SMG
- 75 Hearts – Heart Breaker vault hunter skins
- 100 Hearts – Wedding Invitation Legendary Sniper Rifle
- Once you have broken 100 Hearts go to the Broken Hearts Day Rewards page
- Unlock the reward chest
- Wedding Invitation will be automatically added to your Inventory
