Where is the Valheim Config file located
Location of the config file
The straightforward location of all the Valheim config files is : C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\
For Linux Users
The location is different for Linux users though. For Linux users the location of Valheim config files is : $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim/prefs
How to find the AppData folder
If the AppData folder is hidden for you, here is how to make it visible:
- Open any folder on your PC. It can be a new folder or an existing folder.
- Click on the View option at the top of the folder window
- There you will find a setting called “Hidden items”
- Check the box beside it
Now you can go back to C:\Users\Your username. And there you will find the AppData folder.
