Undercurrent God Roll – For the longest time, Forbearance has been one of the best Wave Frame Grenade Launchers in Destiny 2. But Bungie has finally changed that by bringing a solid competitor. I am obviously talking about Undercurrent—the new Arc GL.
Undercurrent is an Arc Wave Frame Grenade Launcher that has arrived with the Season 23 update. It is perfect for people who have not managed to do the Vow of the Disciple Raid for Forbearance, as the Undercurrent acts as a near-perfect replacement for the Forbearance. Let’s take a quick look at the best perks for Undercurrent, for both PvP and PvE.
Undercurrent God Roll – Destiny 2
PvE
- Launcher Barrel: Quick Launch (+10 Velocity and +15 Handling)
- Magazine:Â High-Velocity Rounds (+10 Reload Speed, +10 Velocity, and Reload Time lowered from 2.28s to 2.15s)
- Perk #1: Ambitious Assassin (Allows you to store more projectiles in the mag)
- Perk #2: Voltshot/Bait And Switch (Bait And Switch is mainly for Boss DPS, Voltshot for everything else)
- Origin Trait: Vanguard’s Vindication (Restores HP on eliminations)
- Masterwork: Reload Speed (You should always pick a Reload Speed Masterwork on GLs)
- Mod: Minor Spec (Wave-Frames are mainly used for clearing red-bars. So Major Spec or Boss Spec is less effective here)
PvP
- Launcher Barrel: Hard Launch (We need to increase the Velocity as much as possible)
- Magazine:Â High-Velocity Rounds (+10 Reload Speed, +10 Velocity, and Reload Time lowered from 2.28s to 2.15s)
- Perk #1: Demolitionist (Use your Grenade Ability to refill the Magazine.)
- Perk #2: High Ground (Only good PvP perk in this slot)
- Origin Trait: Vanguard’s Vindication (Restores HP on eliminations)
- Masterwork: Velocity (Reload Speed doesn’t really matter in PvP)
- Mod:Â Quick Access Sling (Playing PvP with GLs is all about quick swapping, and Quick Access Sling helps a lot here)
Undercurrent (Adept) God Roll – Destiny 2
PvE
- Launcher Barrel: Quick Launch
- Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds
- Perk #1: Ambitious Assassin
- Perk #2: Voltshot/Bait And Switch
- Origin Trait: Vanguard’s Vindication
- Masterwork: Reload Speed
- Mod: Adept Reload (Really improves the Reload Speed)
PvP
- Launcher Barrel: Hard Launch
- Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds
- Perk #1: Demolitionist
- Perk #2: High Ground
- Origin Trait: Vanguard’s Vindication
- Masterwork: Velocity
- Mod: Adept Projectile Speed (Really improves the Velocity)
