All the Xbox users have been wondering if they will be able to get the latest Dead Island 2 on Microsoft’s subscription service when the game gets released. For now, we have Dead Island 2 of the iconic Dead Island Franchise making its way back!
After what seems like forever, Dead Island 2 is all set to be released on the 21st of April 2023. It will be available on the following platforms: PlayStation, Xbox platforms and, of course, PC. However, the question remains, will Dead Island 2 be available on Game Pass or not?

The developers of the game Dead Island 2, at the time of writing, have not announced any plans to have the game available on Game Pass during its launch. So if you are an Xbox user, we suggest that you buy a copy of the game if you want to play it.
Yes we know that this seems rather disappointing to the players who were hoping to get the chance to get this zombie survival title via their Game Pass subscription without buying the game altogether. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the game will never be on the Xbox Game Pass.
Basically, even though the game wouldn’t be on Game Pass at its launch, it is quite possible that it could get added to the Game Pass, anytime in the future. This is due to the fact that new games are added every month to the subscription service.
Even the first Dead Island was added to the Game pass, a week after the official announcement of Dead Island 2, which happened at Gamescom 2022.
