S22 Artifact Destiny 2 – Season 22 is finally here in Destiny 2, and with it has arrived an enormous load of exciting new content. There are new exotics, new weapons, a reprised raid, a brand-new Season Pass, and many more. But one of the first things that people wonder about as soon as a new Season arrives in Destiny 2 is the Seasonal Artifact.
Just like the previous seasons, Season 22 also has an artifact. It is common knowledge that the game doesn’t give you access to the Artifact immediately after you start the game. It is up to you to unlock it.
So, the main question is how to get the Season 22 Artifact in Destiny 2. Keep reading to get the full information.
How to Unlock Season 22 Artifact in Destiny 2
You will get the S22 Artifact just after starting the first mission called “Way Of The Witch.” This time, you won’t have to complete the mission to get the artifact like the previous seasons. As soon as you start Destiny 2 after downloading the Season 22 update, you will be directly sent to Savathun’s Throne World for the first mission of the season, Way of the Witch, where your first job will be to “Search for the Spire.” Follow the waypoint, and beat whatever comes your way.
After reaching the final area of the mission, you have to defeat a bunch of enemies, which mainly include Hive. Not only that, but you will also have to “Empower the Crystals.” How do you do that? Look around for Solar Crystals in the area, pick them up, and drop them at their respective locations. These Solar Crystals will damage you, by the way. So if you hold them for too long, you might end up getting eliminated. After you are done with the Solar Crystals, you will have to Empower some Arc Crystals. To “Transfer the Power” you will have to by melee the Arc Crystal, get the buff called Crystalline Charge, and then melee the Crystals in front of you to empower them.
Once you have done everything above, the final boss of the mission, called, Elunash, Oblative Adherent, will get activated. Beat her and then “Reveal Savathun’s Spire” to complete the mission. At the end of the mission, you will get a Seasonal Item, and something called the “Opaque Card.”
