The negative part about fighting these zombies for longer periods of time is that your weapons might end up fully damaged midway. So it’s always better to keep all your weapons fully repaired when you are up against both the zombies and the bandits. So how do you repair them?
How to repair weapons in Dying Light 2
So, the first question, that comes into the scenario is, “Could the weapons in Dying Light 2 be repaired?”. The answer is not the simple, actually. Yes, you can repair weapons, but not all of them. The only ones that can be repaired, are the weapons that you can “modify”. Which means, most of the weapons you get at the start of the game, cannot be repaired, as they cannot be modified.
So if you possess a “non-moddable” weapon, and you really like it, you might have to let it go at some point in the game. You can easily identify if a weapon can be modded or not, by going to your inventory, seeing if the “Modify” option is available for that weapon or not. You can also identify a “moddable” weapon, by looking at the circles on the right side of its icon. The circles are basically mod slots.
The number of circles that are present on the right side of the weapon icon will indicate how many times you can modify that specific weapon. So always use all your precious weapons very wisely. Here are the two steps you need to do in order to repair your weapons in the game quickly.
- Open in Inventory menu in the game and hover over the weapon of your choice
- Select the modify button by pressing C and choose and mod and apply
