How to get Ringtail Slime in Slime Rancher 2

To get Ringtail Slime, you should unlock the Ember Valley and make your way to the Valley. Here, you will notice a stone or statue that kind of looks like a squirrel. Here is how it looks like:

Ringtail Slime Statue

Don’t be confused over the stone or statue; those are real Ringtail Slimes, which can be stone in sunlight, and during dark times, will transform into Ringtail Slime.

If you want to collect as many as you want, you have two solutions: to wait for the nighttime and grab them while they are active, or collect the stone and move it near the cave to revert to its original shape and start to suck it up.

Before that, you should unlock the Ember Valley, which is the place to get your Ringtail slime; if you don’t know how to unlock the Ember Valley, follow the below sections.

How to unlock the Ember Valley

To unlock the Ember Valley, you should find the Pink Gordo slime. Before that, discover the Ember Valley, which is covered by a white pillar with gold trimmings on top, while exploring the central region of the Rainbow Islands.

Once you have found that Valley, you will notice the Pink Gordo Slime protecting this portal; now it’s time to open the ember Valley by feeding the Pink Gordo Slime. Note that this Pink Gordo doesn’t have favorite foods, so feed them 32 of any other food.

After that, this slime will blast and sit on a geyser. Now, you should wait on the geyser for its shoots. Afterward, it will forcefully push you to the cliffs where you can see a strange machine. Once you have activated the device, it will unlock the portal of the Valley.

Once you have entered the Ember Valley, you will quickly discover plenty of Ringtail Slime to collect. As I mentioned earlier, these slimes are only hanging out during the night, and if you find out in the daylight as a stone, move into the cave and collect them as much as you want.
