If you have got Jedi Survivor on PC, and wondering how to change the default keybinds or controls of the game, don’t worry. We got you.
The launch of Star Wars Jedi Survivor has been extremely rocky so far, with players not being able to enjoy the game due to performance issues and constant errors. On the other hand, people who have powerful gaming rigs and are not facing performance issues, and being plagued by different problems.
One of those difficulties is the ability to change controls. You might think that, if you just go to Settings > Controls, you would be able to change your keyboard and mouse controls. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. There is no option to change controls in the Controls menu. So how to change, then?
How to change Controls in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
The controls and keybinds menu for PC users has been placed in an odd location. Here is what you need to do:
- Start the game
- Go to the Settings menu
- Instead of “Controls,” select “Controller”.
- Under the image of the controller, you will notice an option called “Edit Controls”. Click on it.
- You will then land on the Keybinds menu.
- Click on the screen won’t do anything, so you need to either press the Right Arrow Key or S to start editing the controls.
- In order to change a keybind, press Enter on it. Again, the mouse won’t do anything here.
- Now hold the button that you want to bind with that specific action.
- That is all you need to do.
If you ask me, I don’t see a reason behind this complexity. All these years of game, and never have I ever seen a game, where the option to change Keyboard controls is located inside the Controller menu. I guess this is what happens when you try to rush a project.
I don’t know whose idea it was to release this game in this state, but it was a very bad decision. Fallen Order has already set the bar quite high, and Jedi Survivor comes as a complete disappointment.
