How to Adjust Sensitivity in Remnant 2

The highly-anticipated souls-like coop shooter is finally here. I am obviously talking about Remnant 2. If you have played Remnant: From the Ashes and liked it, then you will love Remnant 2. This game picks everything from Remnant 1 and improves it drastically.

Anyway, when you first start Remnant, you are dropped in the tutorial of the game, which you have to complete in order to unlock Ward 13 (Safe House), and find Wallace, who helps you pick your class. But the problem is, when you land inside the game for the time, you might find the controller and mouse sensitivity, to be extremely high. If you are someone like me, and play games like CS GO, you will have an extremely tough time aiming at the enemies. And the game doesn’t really do a good job of telling you how the settings work. Here is how to adjust your mouse sensitivity in Remnant 2:

How to Adjust Sensitivity in Remnant 2

Now, normally devs put the mouse and controller sensitivity settings under the appropriate tabs so that players can find them easily. But that is not the case with Remnant 2. One might think that they will find the settings in the Controls menu, but no.

To adjust your Controller or Mouse Sensitivity in Remnant 2, you will have to open the Settings menu, then go to the “Gameplay” tab. Scroll down until you find the “Camera” section. That is where all your sensitivity settings are. Here are all the settings that affect your in-game sensitivity in Remnant 2:

  • Horizontal Camera Sensitivity
  • Vertical Camera Sensitivity
  • Horizontal Aiming Sensitivity
  • Vertical Aiming Sensitivity
  • Horizontal Scope Sensitivity
  • Vertical Scope Sensitivity

You will have to make changes to all these settings in order to see changes to your sensitivity in-game. You will find all these settings set to a default value of 50. If you want to lower your sensitivity, you will have to turn down everything. Lowering just one won’t really help. I don’t know about everyone, but I personally like low sensitivity on my mouse. So, to me, here are the best sensitivity settings:

  • Horizontal Camera Sensitivity: 10
  • Vertical Camera Sensitivity: 12
  • Horizontal Aiming Sensitivity: 10
  • Vertical Aiming Sensitivity: 12
  • Horizontal Scope Sensitivity: 10
  • Vertical Scope Sensitivity: 12

Now, if you are not someone who plays at a comparatively lower sensitivity, and can’t decide what values you should go for, just set everything to 20. You cannot go wrong with that. Or, you can just keep trying different values until you find the best sensitivity for you.
