How to fix controller not working in Forbidden Horizon West
If you are using your Xbox or PS5 Game Controller to play Forbidden Horizon West on PC then you might come across connectivity issues. In that case, you can try out the following ways to fix it.
- Use a Wired Controller instead of a wireless one.
- Plug out all the unused controllers i.e. Joysticks, Wheels, and unused Game Controllers, and keep only the main controller connected with which you intend to play.
- If you are using a Wireless Controller and don’t have a proper Wired Controller, use a USB Cable or a Type C Cable and connect it making it a Wired Connection.
- Check your Controller connection. You will find it on Steam > Settings > Controller Options > Find Connected Controllers under Settings > Click on Begin Test to start testing Inputs. Try disconnecting and reconnecting it if the controller fails to show up.
- Disable the Steam input by finding the game in your Steam Library > Right click and Select Properties > Click on “Override for Forbidden Horizon West” and disable the Steam input. Restart your PC thereafter.
- If nothing works you can get a new Controller for yourself or try switching to a new USB Port as well.
