Hood config file location – This guide will show you where the Hood: Outlaws & Legends config file is located on your PC.
Hood Outlaws & Legends – Config file location
Where is the config file located
The straightforward location of all the Hood: Outlaws & Legends config files is : C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\Local\Hood\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
The configuration file is called “GameUserSettings” and it is a .ini file. You can edit this file with Notepad or any other text editor application. If you didn’t know, this is the file that you actually have to edit in order to unlock or uncap your fps in Hood.
Head down to the line that says: “FrameRateLimit=0.000000”
Then change the “0.000000” to your desired amount. For example:
- “FrameRateLimit=144”
- “FrameRateLimit=244”
You will successfully uncap your frame rate in Hood: Outlaws & Legends.
How to find the AppData folder
If the AppData folder is hidden for you, here is how to make it visible:
- Open any folder on your PC. It can be a new folder or an existing folder.
- Click on the View option at the top of the folder window
- There you will find a setting called “Hidden items”
- Check the box beside it
Now you can go back to C:\Users\Your username. And there you will find the AppData folder.

He has been gaming since he was 7 years old, and with an experience of 22 years, under his belt, there is not a single AAA game in this world, that he hasn’t played. Despite being a MBA Graduate he decided to follow his passion. And because of his love for gaming, Frondtech came into existence.
