How to fix Star Wars Jedi Survivor No Sound or Audio Bug and Stutter issues

Here are some quick tips to help fix no sound or Audio bugs in Jedi Survivor.

Select the Correct Audio Output

Sometimes the primary output switches automatically when you plug in a new audio device; in that case, you might not be able to get the sound. To fix this, you can try out the following steps.

  1. Right, Click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the screen (on the system tray).
  2. That will open up the Sound Settings.
  3. Select the proper output device from under the Sound Tab you wish to use.
  4. Click Ok and Exit.
  5. Restart the Jedi Survivors, and you should have the audio output now.

Use Wired Headphones

If you have issues with Wireless Headphones, try using the 3.5mm Jack wired headphones and rerun the game.  I had a similar issue using my HyperX Cloud Stinger Wireless Gaming Headphones. I disconnected it and plugged in my old Logitech Wired Gaming Headphones, and my Audio issues disappeared. I hope the developers take notice and fix these issues in the upcoming patches.

For those having issues with USB Powered Gaming Headphones, using a 3.5mm jack Wired Headphones connected directly to your PC is the best way to avoid that issue.

Alter the Playback Device Format

If you don’t have the game audio routed through the Native Windows Settings, you can also face tough issues in Jedi Survivor. You can avoid this issue by following these quick steps.

  1. Right-click on the Speaker icon on the System Tray.
  2. Select Playback Device from Sounds.
  3. Right-Click on the Properties and go to the Advanced Tab option.
  4. Change the format from 48000Hz 16bit (DVD Quality) to 96000Hz 24Bit as the output.

Disable Windows Sonic or Spatial Audio

Currently, Windows Sonic/Spatial Sound is buggy on Windows, so it’s better not to use it.

Enable the Audio Enhancements

You can also enable all the audio enhancements to fix no sound and audio issues because sometimes disabling them leads to loss of sound and game audio. Follow these methods to quickly enable Audio enhancements quickly.

  1. Get to the Sound Settings and then click on the Playback Tab.
  2. Right-click on the Playback Devices.
  3. Click on the Enhancements after you have selected Properties.

Update your Audio Drivers

If nothing seems to work for you, then updating your drivers might be useful. But remember that many of these websites will tell you to do that, but it is only recommended if you are facing issues with all the games and apps. If it is only on this specific game, then the problem might lie elsewhere.

However, if you still wish to do it, head to your Motherboard manufacturer’s website and download the latest and official audio drivers. But remember, do not download any essential drivers from any 3rd party random or untrusted websites, as they might contain virus, malware or spyware.

So this was all about how to fix Star Wars Jedi Survivor No Sound or Audio Bug issues.
