Fix Armored Core 6 No Sound or Audio Bug

AC6 No Sound or Audio Bug – Since Armored Core 6 was released, many players have complained about the audio issues in the game. Since we are very active on Gaming Forums, we are seeing a lot of the players suffering from Audio bugs or no sound issues. These issues are randomly cropping up on players for no reason at all, thus destroying the game’s essence and experience.

So if you are also one of the victims of the audio bug while playing Armored Core 6, this guide will come in handy for you.

Fix Armored Core 6 No Sound or Audio Bug

Here are some of the troubleshooting tips that you can use to fix Armored Core 6 No Sound or Audio Bug.

Switch to a 3.5mm Wired Headphone

You might face audio issues using a pair of Wireless Headphones when playing Armored Core 6. You can easily fix it by switching it to a 3.5 mm Wired Headphone and try running the game again. We have also faced a similar issue with our Cooler Master MH670 Wireless and our trusty old HyperX Cloud Stinger Wireless Headphones.

To solve the issue, we disconnected the wireless headphones and plugged in my MSI Gaming Wired Headphones, and to be honest, all our audio issues disappeared. The forums also have players complaining about their USB Powered Headphones not working properly. So switching to Wired 3.5mm Headphones fixed the issue for most of them. However, the developers have already noticed the issue, which will be addressed in the upcoming patches.

Select Proper Output

use proper output

Occasionally, your primary output switches automatically when you plug in a new audio device, i.e., Headphones. And because of that, you cannot get the game audio routed through the headphones. If you are facing a similar issue, then you can try the following steps.

  1. First, Right-click on the speaker icon that you will find in the lower right corner of the screen.
  2. You will find the option on the system tray.
  3. That will open up the Sound Settings Window.
  4. Select the proper output device from under the Sound Tab you wish to use.
  5. Click Ok and hit Exit.
  6. Restart Armored Core 6, and you should have the audio output now.

Enable Audio Enhancements

You might also face audio issues if you accidentally disable the Audio Enhancements. Follow these steps to quickly enable the Audio Enhancements to fix the Audio issues in Armored Core 6.

  1. Click on Sound Settings and then select the Playback Tab.
  2. Right-click on the Playback Devices.
  3. Click on the Enhancements after you have selected Properties.

Disable Windows Sonic

Windows Spatial Sound or Windows Sonic is buggy on Windows currently, so it is best to avoid and not enable it at all.

Update Audio Drivers

If you have tried everything and nothing seems to work for you, then updating your Audio Drivers might help.

But honestly, you should not uninstall and reinstall Audio drivers just like that. It is always recommended to reinstall only if you have problems with all the apps and games. If it is a problem with Armored Core 6 specifically, the problem lies with the game itself.

However, if you still wish to update your drivers, head to the motherboard manufacturer’s website and download the updated and latest audio drivers. But never download any drivers from 3rd Party websites, as they often contain spyware, adware, malware, and viruses.

So this was all about How to fix Armored Core 6 No Sound or Audio Bug.
