Captain Tsubasa Rise of New Champions (RONC) – Game is crashing – How to fix

Are you using Windows 10 version 18362.0?

At this moment majority of the people who are facing crashes are Windows 7 users. People who have Windows 10 updated to version 18362.0 or higher are doing just fine. There are some exceptions though.

Check Anti-Virus Software on your System

Anti-Virus software hooks very deep into user systems and can affect disk and network operations which can cause crashes in games. Some games also use copy protection technology that can appear as malicious software to an AV scanner, resulting in potential false-positive alerts.

Try disabling your Anti-Virus software temporarily and then run Captain Tsubasa Rise of New Champions. It may also be necessary to add exceptions for Captain Tsubasa in your AV configuration.

Update your Graphics Card drivers (Fix for crashes)

If you are facing crashes then that might be because of your outdated graphics drivers. Though Nvidia and AMD have not released drivers specially for Captain Tsubasa Rise of New Champions, it is wise to use the latest ones. Here are the links:

Fixes suggested by other Steam users

  • The crash actually happens when Tsubasa is your main control player. Try to avoid having him as main control as much as possible until the developers release a fix for this.
  • Try Fullscreen with vsync turned off. You will still get crash when you face a new team but this should fix the problem that you can at least play the game
  • Set monitor native refresh rate to 60hz if you have a 144hz or 240hz monitor.
