The best way to farm Strand Meditations is by completing the Patrols and Public Events at the Vex Incursion Zone. These Incursion Zones are available in Neomuna when playing the new Lightfall DLC. Remember that the Strand can unlock only if you have purchased the Lightfall DLC Expansion Pack activated for Destiny 2. All you need to do is prevent Vex from doing their Incursion invasions during the Public Events in Neomuna on Neptune.
You will be able to find these events at the bottom of the map, and you will also be able to see the Strand Meditations that you will receive after you have completed the Public Event.
Patrols give around 10 Strand Meditations, while a Public Event can grant about 30. Also, try to eliminate any Orange Bar or Yellow Bar enemy you see at the location. They spawn chests that give Strand Meditations. Try to use a high-damage ability spam build. I was using my Tripmine Hunter Build, and I was mowing down everything in a blink of an eye. In the current scenario, I cannot recommend Strand for this farm. After a farming session of about 40 minutes with my friend, I managed to farm 306 Strand Meditations, which, in my opinion, is pretty good. This means you will be able to unlock a Strand Fragment every 25-30 minutes.
Also, don’t forget you collect bounties from Nimbus before you start the farm because with all these eliminations, you will be completing bounties and getting Neomuna Rep fairly fast. Once you gather enough rep and reach Rank 18 on Nimbus, you can go and claim the Rank 18 reward, which is 200 Strand Meditations.
Remember that regardless of whether you win or fail the public event, you will still get the Strand Meditations from the Chest that drops post the event. Strand Meditations is one of the most crucial resources you find, and you need to acquire it if you want to unlock the other Strand Fragments and the Aspects. These Fragments and Aspects grant you additional powers and abilities to use along with the Strand Element.
Although you can buy the Aspects and Fragments from Ikora for your Light-based abilities, you have to take a different approach for the darkness abilities. All you need to do is head over to the Pouka Pond so that you can access these abilities. Spend the Strand Meditations you receive by doing missions in the Incursion zones to unlock the Strand Grenades, Aspects, and Fragments. These include a wide range of unique talents that you use against your enemies using the Strand.
