Apex Predator God Roll Destiny 2

Apex Predator God Roll – With the weapons from the Last Wish Raid now being craftable, a bunch of weapons has received some buffs, including the Apex Predator. With the current Rocket Launcher meta being in its place, the weapon’s looking quite good, and with the same, you’ve got to get the most out of it. Apex Predator is an Adaptive Frame 20 RPM Solar Rocket Launcher.

Let’s take a quick look at the stats of Apex Predator:

  • Blast Radius: 50
  • Velocity: 49
  • Stability: 43
  • Handling: 44
  • Reload Speed: 44
  • Reload Speed: 3.37s
  • Zoom: 20
  • Rounds Per Minute: 20
  • Recoil: 61

So this article will guide you with the God Rolls for the Apex Predator in Destiny 2 game.

Apex Predator God Roll

It is quite obvious that most people are going to farm for a PvE God Roll on the Apex Predator, as nobody really farm Rocket Launchers specifically for PvP. With that been said, here is what I think the Apex Predator God Roll:

  • Launcher Barrel: Quick Launch (+10 Velocity, +15 Handling)
  • Magazine: Impact Casing (Gives a nice +10% impact damage increase, resulting in a total damage increase of 2.2%)
  • Trait #1: Reconstruction (Easily one of the best perks you can have on a Rocket Launcher)
  • Trait #2: Bait and Switch (That 35% damage increase for 10 seconds is too huge to settle for anything else on this slot)
  • Origin Trait: Explosive Pact
  • Masterwork: Velocity (For Boss phases, it is best to have as much velocity as possible. With Impact Casing, increasing Blast Radius doesn’t make sense)
  • Mod: Boss Spec

Reconstruction works just as well as Auto-Loading Holster and Clown Cartridge by allowing weapons to reload progressively every 4 seconds. On the other hand, the players that have opted for a grenade-focused build, such as Warlocks, can opt for Demolitionist, which will ensure that as the players activate their grenade ability, the rocket launcher reloads.

Bait and switch is the primary damage output perk in this scenario; given that the player uses another weapon to deal some damage before switching to the Apex Predator, a 35% damage output increase comes into effect due to the perk. This perk also stacks along with Solar Surges, so opting for a triple solar surge along with the perk guarantees another batch of damage output.

Further, Bait and Switch could be activated if paired up with a Kinetic Weapon that packs a punch; you could ideally go for Supremacy with Bait and Switch, Witherhoard, or Izanagi’s Burden; this way, you’d get some extra damage output than what you’ll already have. Double Special Weapons can make a difference when it’s needed.

How to get Apex Predator in Destiny 2

The best part about this weapon is that it can drop from any encounter of the Last Wish Raid, meaning that you can farm individual encounters as many times as you wish, to obtain Red Border drops. Try farming Kalli (The fist Last Wish encounter) over and over again. Kalli drops all Last Wish weapons and armor.

Further, before starting the same, players should opt for the “O Deepsight Mine” quest from Hawthorne in the tower. This quest will ensure that another Deepsight pattern unlock available for you in the end.

So this article was all about how to get the Apex Predator in Destiny 2.
