Fall Guys 60 fps cap fix – Is Fall Guys capped at 60 frames per second for you? Don’t worry, here is a fix for you.
Fall Guys – Game is capped at 60 fps – How to fix
A lot users have been complaining lately that the fps in Fall Guys is capped at 60. No matter what they do the frames won’t go past 60.
Now this might not be a problem for regular users who are using 60hz monitors. It is the people with 144hz gaming monitors who are getting annoyed by this.
And you cannot blame them as once you get the taste of playing games at 120-144 fps on a 144hz monitor, you simply cannot go back. 60 fps starts feeling like a huge downgrade then. So is there a fix for this?
How to remove the 60 fps cap
Fortunately, there is a fix to this bug and it is fairly simple. All you have to do is turn on V-sync in the graphics settings menu. This is quite funny as this is the first time I am seeing a game running at more fps with V-Sync on compared to the setting being off.

mine doesn’t work even with v-sync on 🙁
It looks weird with v-sync and 144hz. All the players go all blurry when they move which is the opposite of what should happen.
So strange – turning Vsync on worked for me (make sure your resolution settings are correspondingly changed to the correct Hz). Normally Vsync on locks you to 60fps and vice versa, so I don’t know why, but this works. Thanks so much man
Oh nice it works, on my machine i see no ghosting.. i got a DELL 1440p GSync 165hz and with VSync ON works perfectly fine, running atm at 1440p@144hz and constant 144fps. Thanks for the tip.
I think that even when the game runs at 143 fps, the animations run at 60 making the characters look super blurry. It’s a really lazy strategy and i really hope it gets fixed.
Thanks for helping fix my issue. You’re a legend.
