Starfield: Piloting Skill too low – What to do?

Given the time players spend in their ships for space exploration, you would want to fly in the higher-class ships and not be stuck with the lower ones. In the game, Piloting skill is something that will help you make your ship more responsive, and additionally, it also provides you access to the Higher class ships to fly them. So, if you would love to do it, here is all you need to know about increasing your Piloting skills in Starfield. Keep reading to find out!

Piloting Skill too low in Starfield – What to do?

The game Starfield consists of 5 skill trees for its players to unlock skills in and then level up. This can be done by completing specific challenges for that particular skill and then using another skill point to unlock the next rank. This unlocking requires another skill point and some work completed to its related challenge. But, this provides you with additional bonuses that do the skills’ job by building onto it. In the case of Piloting, it will increase depending on how well players can fly their ship, and would then allow you to fly higher class ships!

Piloting Skill too low in Starfield What to do

To unlock all the way through, players would require their Piloting skill to be four skill points. However, this will be spaced out as players must destroy several enemy ships to increase their rank. Each of the challenges would require, in combat, its players to destroy ships endlessly, so be mindful and get the strongest of your ships and powerful guns, too! Here is a list of all rank’s challenges:

  • Rank 1 – This can be purchased anytime and does not require anything.
  • Rank 2 – Players need to destroy at least 5 Ships.
  • Rank 3 – Players need to destroy at least 10 Ships.
  • Rank 4 – Players need to destroy at least 15 Ships.

Finding Enemy Ships in Starfield

Finding Enemy Ships in Starfield

By far, the simplest/easiest way to find enemy ships is to fly from one planet to another in search of small patrols being attacked by Pirates. Additionally, players can also choose the option to head to the systems that are in control of the Pirate groups, like Crimson Raiders, to find additional ships. However, note that players might often be outnumbered here.

For the players who do not worry about committing piracy, any ships can be destroyed and counted in the challenge. We advise that for this, you head to a neutral system so that you do not earn a bounty with a major faction. In the case of the unclaimed systems, players can destroy the local ships to, for that particular system, build up a bounty and also further upgrade their Piloting skills.

That pretty much sums up all that there is to know about What to do in case your Piloting skill is too low in the game Starfield.
