How to Unlock Shotgun in Alan Wake 2
As with any shotgun in any game, you compromise on range and ammunition to pack a punch if the enemy’s close enough. They say that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and hence, the Sawed-off in Alan Wake 2 is no different. It’s a weapon worth having, and if you get it as soon as possible, you’ll find yourself winning combats within seconds. That said, here’s where you could find the Sawed-off in Alan Wake 2.
The General Store close to Cauldron Lake is the place you’re looking for; you won’t get it the first time you’re in here, and you will need to wait for the second time. You can visit the place anytime if you’ve been here once to get the Sawed-off. In this general store, there’ll be a locked door that a cultist will break through for you. Once you’ve dealt with him, you can walk into the place.
You’ll find the Sawed-off hanging on the wall at the back, but it’ll be locked, and to make it yours, you’ll need to find the passcode to this lock. Nearby, you’ll find a note that guides you to the cash register for the code, and once you make it there, you’ll find a notepad that contains a bunch of codes. Don’t try any of these, as none will work. However, you’ll notice a lottery ticket next to the cash register. That’s your way out.
On the lottery ticket, you’ll find a number- 739, which is the code to unlock the Sawed-off. All remaining now is for you to walk up to the lock and type in the code, after which you’ll get the Sawed-off. Again, the gun will only have two bullets in the chamber, so use it wisely!
