COD MW2 skip intro – Anybody else tired of seeing the multiple intro videos, every time you launch Wonderlands? Don’t worry, as we have a fix for this.
After a long wait, COD fans are finally getting to experience Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and they cannot keep calm.
COD MW2 2022 is a first-person shooter game published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward. It is a sequel to Call of Duty Modern Warfare which first came out in 2019 and is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S and X.
Coming back to the main topic, Call of Duty games have always been known to have multiple intros. Modern Warfare 2 is no different. Every time I launch the game, I get greeted with a barrage of intro videos.
Initially, I wasn’t paying attention. It was while testing the different settings combinations, I started getting annoyed from seeing the same videos, after every restart. And these intro videos are quite loud too.
Can we skip the COD MW2 intro video
The simple answer to this would be, yes, you can skip the intro. And it totally makes sense because these videos play every time the game is launched.
The best part is, Infinity Ward has actually included an option to enable or disable the intro video whenever you want, and it is very easy to do.
How to Skip Intro in Modern Warfare 2
Here is how you can skip the intro in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2:
- Launch COD MW2 via your respective launcher.
- Go to the ‘Settings’ menu.
- From there, click on the ‘Interface’ tab from the left sidebar.
- Scroll down until you find the ‘Advanced Interface Setting’.
- You will notice the ‘Skip Introduction Movie’ at the very top.
- Turn it off.
Now, this is how you can skip the intro in the PC version of Modern Warfare 2. I have the game on Steam, so I only have an idea of how it works on PC.
For the PS5, I am very sure, because when I played the PlayStation exclusive beta back in September, I didn’t notice any setting of this sort in the menus. And I remember specifically going through the ‘Interface’ settings, to figure out the ‘Telemetry’ option.
