How to fix Stuttering and Freezing on PC on Ghostrunner 2
Meeting System Requirements and Updating GPU Drivers
Before moving further into the guide, you must meet at least the minimum hardware requirements of Ghostrunner 2. Here are the minimum system requirements for Ghostrunner 2.

Overlays and Notifications
You can also turn off the desktop notifications if playing this title on Epic. You will find the desktop notifications popping randomly on the right side of the screen, and that causes stuttering in games and applications.
To turn off the overlays and desktop notifications, uncheck the boxes beside the Show Free Game Notifications and Show News and Special Offer Notifications, and you are done. But if you are playing the Steam game, you should turn off the Steam Overlay. Steam Overlays have always been an issue for us while testing games, and it’s better to turn it off. To do that, go to Steam and head to the settings menu
Windows Features
Many Windows features keep running in the background, sucking up tons of resources without your knowledge. One such typical example is the Background Recording. If enabled on your system, it can cause micro stuttering and freezing. With this feature, it records your gameplay in the background. But the problem is that it is best to disable it if you don’t have a powerful processor.
Go to Windows Settings > Gaming > Captures > Turn off Record What Happened to do that.
You can also disable the Xbox game Bar feature. To do that, go to Windows Settings > Gaming > Xbox Game Bar and turn it off.
The Game Mode feature on Windows is a complete hit or miss. It performs well for some specific games but doesn’t do anything for most of them, so it is better to turn it off. To disable it, open the Windows Settings menu and go to Gaming. Select the Game mode and turn it off. You will find it on the left sidebar. Restart Ghostrunner 2, and you are done.
Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling Feature Windows 10
You can also make use of the brand-new Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling feature. You will be able to benefit more if you have a good GPU.
To enable this feature, head to the Windows Settings, click the System Settings and go to the Display Tab. Scroll down, and you will find an option called Graphics Settings. Click on it to turn on the Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling. Restart the system after you have made the changes.
You can also try reinstalling the game, as we always suggest. If you have the demo version of the game already installed, then you will have to uninstall the game first and then install the full game.
