Fix Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Audio Bug

Spider-Man 2 is finally here, and Spider-Man fans are thoroughly enjoying the game. Insomniac has done a great job with this one, and Marve’s Spider-Man 2 looks like a big upgrade over the last two Marvel’s Spider-Man games.

Anyway, the game, being next-gen, is exclusive to PS5. But Spider-Man 2, at this very moment, has some issues. One of the first issues that I came by since I started playing, was an Audio or Sound bug, This happens after you have beaten Sandman in the “Surface Tension” mission, and you have just started the “One Thing At a Time” mission. The game suddenly loses some vital sounds. You can hear people talking, and the background music, but there is no movement or attack sound on Peter. So, this is what I did to fix it.

How to fix Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Audio Bug

Fixing the audio issue in Spider-Man 2 is fairly simple. Here is what you need to do:

  1. Go to your Options menu.
  2. Do a Manual Save.
  3. Quit Spider-Man 2.
  4. Start the game again.
  5. Load the Manual Save.

The sound should be back after this. I didn’t find any other way to fix, as I tried fiddling with the in-game settings a lot. My PS5 headphones were working perfectly, as the game was detecting the headphones at the time of this bug. So, it became quite evident that the game bugged out.

Also, as I said before, the background music was present, and I could also hear the Ganke and the people from the firefighting squad talking. In fact, I could also here Peter talking. It was just his movement sounds, that were bugged.

I will be honest. PS5 games rarely bug out for me. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 surely was an exception.
