The key to creating the best loadout isn’t just in the weapon you choose or the perks that you go for, it’s also within the smaller details that could get you one extra kill or one extra health point faster to be alive or just a shred of more information than your opponent, this, makes all the difference.
One of the key factors of a loadout is the tactical equipment that you opt for and to my surprise, there aren’t many guides with important information as to this that you might need. Well, you’re in luck as in this article, I’ll be covering the Best Tactics that you can opt for in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3!
Best Tactical in MW3
One key factor that you should keep in mind before I move forward with this guide is that there are vests in the game that could give you two slots of tactical equipment and on the other hand, there’s one that won’t allow you to carry a single tac. Due to this, it becomes a major factor for you to make the right choice of a vest, before you can choose the Tactical that you need as per your loadout!
Here’s our take on Tacticals, ranked from the best first to the ones with lower ratings at last!
Stim:
My most used Tactical. The Stim is a decent replacement to the Battle Rage. It’ll get you some added movement speed as well as a quicker-than-normal regeneration of health points; however, I believe that the Battle Rage heals you quicker!
Stun Grenade:
One of my primary choices in a loadout, the Stun Grenade is at least one of the best choices out there, if not the best, and this is because this grenade makes clearing out rooms and closed areas or sometimes even open areas easy to clear. You just chuck one of these and hope to god an enemy gets caught up with it. If they do, you know you’ve got an easy kill- with them being movement-restricted, not being able to shoot straight for a while, and basically, just being defenseless.
Flash Grenade:
The Flash Grenade too, is one of the best choices out there. However, with the flash grenade, there’s always a chance for your enemy to get you even when they’re blind (given you’re in their line of fire). So make sure that when you use these, you’re careful of the enemy’s line of fire. Otherwise, you can potentially clear out groups of your enemies with one of these things.
Smoke Grenade:
Smoke grenades have the best application when in closed areas or smaller maps. They’d help you go completely under the radar while also allowing you to have a sort of visual protection from your enemies’ eyes for a while. Using one of these at the right time can make all the difference.
Battle Rage:
The Battle Rage too is one of my favorites, especially, when I’m using an assault-type or just a fast-type loadout that has an SMG or an Agile AR. Using the Battle Rage, I can recover out of battles a lot faster as it’ll help you regenerate your health at a much, much faster pace.
EMD Grenade:
If used correctly, this Grenade will help you locate an enemy, as their location will be pinged to your squad’s minimap as soon as you get a hit that’s good enough.
Snapshot Grenade:
The Snapshot grenade will help you get a quick snapshot of the place, where no enemy can hide. If you know a place where there might be multiple FOES camping, you might just chuck one of these and find out! Not my go-to, but could prove to be useful.
Tear Gas:
If thrown correctly, the Tear Gas will create a cloud around your enemy, and for as long as they’re inside this cloud, they’ll be coughing and facing a slowed movement along with low visibility. This won’t cause them to die, unfortunately. However, this is a good way to make sure that no one’s camping at a given place.
The Shock Stick:
One of my favorites is the Shock Stick. Just make sure that you chuck this into a place that’s packed with enemies and traps, and this thing is going to electrocute everything nearby as well as destroy a couple of things while doing so.
The Scatter Mine:
The Scatter Mine is a piece of equipment that you can use to lay a mine trap that’s scattered around in a given place. Once an enemy’s close enough, it’ll detonate!
The Decoy Grenade:
You might just use one of these to confuse your enemy about your whereabouts; however, this isn’t the best one on the list! This grenade will do its best to distract your enemies, which might offer you a window to attack them!
