Purchasing items from shops in the game could prove to be quite expensive, and players often find themselves farming for gold for a longer period of time then they’d normally expect. Hence, in this article by Frondtech, we’ll be guiding you with the best ways to farm gold in Hogwarts Legacy. Here it is:
Best Way to Farm Gold in Hogwarts Legacy
Gold can be earned in plenty of ways in the game. But you will be needing a lot because the purchasable items in Hogwarts Legacy, don’t really come cheap. Here are the best ways to get Gold in Hogwarts Legacy:
Play the Story
Just following the main storyline could get you a decent amount of gold. However, in case you want to make a purchase that isn’t a main part of the storyline, you’ll probably benefit from certain ways that could get you gold a bit quicker.
Sell your extra Gear
Selling gear is the most common way to earn some extra gold by far. Alternatively, opening chests is another great way. However, selling beasts is comparatively an underrated way. It’ll definitely earn you gold quickly!
The Green Rarity Gear sell for 60 Gold, the Blue Rarity Gear sell for 90 Gold, and The Purple Rarity ones for 150. I don’t recommend selling the Legendary ones yet.
Try to loot every Chest you see
You’ll be able to farm gold at multiple places on the map. For instance, Hogwarts Castle is a good location to find chests upon completion of quests and also if you assist companions in the game. You’ll probably be able to find enough in the Hogwarts Castle itself. But wait, there’s more!
You could open Eyeball Chests. These chests can be found inside the Hogwarts Castle, which can only be opened through one way. We’ve covered an earlier article regarding the same. We recommend you check it out!
Do your Sidequests
You could always just progress through the storyline a bit more to get access to some more sidequests that could always earn you some extra gold.
