Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a standalone spin-off of Borderlands 3. The game is actually based on a board game, that was first shown in a Borderlands 2 DLC released in 2013, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. Yes, it has been that long.
Wonderlands brings back most of the typical Borderlands experience, but adds a hind of RPG elements in it. And, there is nothing wrong with that. The world in Wonderlands is open-word and is quite huge. The locations are colorful and are filled with massive, majestic monuments. A couple of new features have made their way to Wonderlands, which will include a character creator, an RPG Styled Skill Tree, and a lot more.
Anyway, Two of the most common technical items that one might need to look for while playing the game are Save and Configuration files. However, finding these files is not an easy task and one has to have a good knowledge of navigating PC drives to locate them.
The good news is that we have already done the hard work for you. This guide will help you locate your Wonderlands Savegame and Config (or Configuration) file location in the PC where you have installed your game. Just go through the below-mentioned steps, and you will easily be able to locate your Config and Save files.
Wonderlands Save File Location
Here is where the Wonderlands Save files are located by default:
- Documents\My Games\Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands\Saved\SaveGames
Inside the “SaveGames” folder, you will notice one or more than one folder with a huge name consisting of a combination of numbers and letters.
This folder basically has all your character data. The more characters you create, the more folders will get added. Now, one might get confused while trying to figure out which folder belongs to which character. Well, you can take your mouse pointer on these folders, and check the date they were created on.
Now, there is no denying that the best way to try different character builds, is to obtain their respective saves. The “SaveGames” folder is the folder, where you have to paste the saves that you obtain from different sources.
Wonderlands Config File Location
Here is where the Wonderlands Config files are located by default:
- Documents\My Games\Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Inside the folder, you will notice a .ini file called “GameUserSettings”. That is the config file of Wonderlands. You can easily edit this file using Notepad.
You can literally change your video settings, without even opening the game, using this file. Just change the values. But do that, only if you know what you are doing.
Note: Although the Config file is editable, we strongly suggest that you don’t try to edit it, unless of course you are familiar with the Config file coding and are absolutely confident that whatever changes you do will not cause the game to break.
