Watch Dogs Legion | Stuck at the Logging In Screen – How to fix

Watch Dogs Legion is finally here, and lets just say that the launch of the game was not really that smooth. People are experiencing performances issues, bugs, glitches and what not. Overall, you can call it a mess.

Seems like a new bug has popped up that is preventing players from logging in to the game. They are getting stuck at the logging in screen every time they are trying to launch the game.

So is there a fix to this issue? Fortunately there is one.

How to fix this issue

An Ubisoft forum user with the name S_Tanner has managed to fix this issue. And a lot of other users have confirmed that the fix suggested by him actually works. Here is what he has to say:

OK I got it to work but the people who said to disconnect from the net didn’t fully explain what they’re doing, nor did they explain it correctly.
So here it is:

1. Launch the game with the internet connected
2. Once you get to the logging in as screen, then disconnect the net (I unplugged the ethernet cord from the back of my computer)
3. Once disconnected, it will bypass the logging in screen and bring you to the main menu.

Another user did the same thing but instead of unplugging the ethernet cord, he just disabled his connection. Here is what he has to say:

I did the same as S_Tanner mentioned, but instead I disconnected my ethernet by typing “view network connections” in the search bar and right clicking my ethernet adapter and clicking disable, then enable.

Here is the link to the original post. You will find plenty of solutions there.
