About the game
If you are a Mario Kart fan then chances are you were waiting for this release. Team Sonic Racing is a kart racing game and a spinoff from Sonic the Hedgehog series. Controlling one of 15 characters from the cast of Sonic The Hedgehog series, players take part in races using sports cars. They view gameplay from a third-person perspective while performing tricks, drifting, and collecting power-ups.
Now people might say that this is like every kart racing, what is so different about it? Well, Team Sonic Racing is different because it focuses on cooperative gameplay where efficiency is rewarded more than speed. Team Sonic Racing combines the best elements of arcade and fast-paced competitive style racing as players face-off with friends in multiplayer racing. Race together and work together as a team by sharing power-ups and speed boosts. Game modes include competing to earn points, time trials, customizing the racing rules. The game also features a story-driven campaign which is more like a tutorial rather than a ‘Story’.
Team Sonic Racing is using the modified version of the All-Stars game engine and we have to say that the vibrant world and the special effects make the game look pretty sweet. This game only features characters from Sonic, as the team wanted to expand the series’ world and character roster. They aimed to make the game stand out compared to other racing games. Let us take a look at the important features of the game.
Key Features: [Source : Steam]

Though all these features seem very cool, we cannot deny the fact that Team Sonic Racing is a demanding title. Team Sonic Racing is well optimized for the most part but still players are facing problems while playing this game. And the problems are mainly fps drops, lag, stuttering, etc.

Check whether any overclocking utility is running on your PC or not
If Team Sonic Racing is crashing constantly on your system then it probably because of a overclocking utility or application that is running on your PC. Overclocking applications like the MSI Afterburner and Zotac Firestorm, are causing crashes for a lot of games. Team Sonic Racing was no different. The game was crashing constantly after we overclocked our GTX 1050 ti just a little bit.
We tried to reach to a stable overclocked core clock and memory clock but Team Sonic Racing was reluctant to run on our overclocked Graphics card. Things went back to normal as soon as we reset everything and closed Afterburner. After this we tried Zotac Firestorm as well but the result was the same. The only difference was that the game ran a little longer this time before crashing.
[Note: These are all basic guides and we have not included any advanced method because we do not want people to mess with the in-game files because it might cause the game to break down completely]
We have hopefully covered all the basic tips, tricks and methods that will help players towards their battle against lag and low fps.
You are good to go!
