Spider-Man PC Save and Config File Location

One of the most anticipated releases of 2022, Spider-Man Remastered, is finally available for PC. The game is doing really great so far, and looking at reviews, and the player count on Steam, which is around 60,000, it is safe to say, that it is a hit.

The game does have some bugs and errors at the moment. But Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software are working on a patch, and it should be released soon.

Two of the most common technical items that one might need to look for while playing the game are Save and Configuration files. However, finding these files is not an easy task and one has to have a good knowledge of navigating PC drives to locate them.

The good news is that we have already done the hard work for you. This guide will help you locate your Spider-Man Save file and Config (or Configuration) file location on the PC where you have installed your game. Just go through the below-mentioned steps, and you will easily be able to locate your Config and Save files.

Spider-Man Save File Location

Here is the default Spider-Man Save File Location:

  • C:\Users\[Your Username]\Documents\Roaming\Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered\[Folder with 17-digit number]

The number of files will depend on the number of Manual Saves you have in the game, and will also include the Autosave file. All the files will be in .save format.

Spider-Man Config File Location

Here is the default location of the Elden Ring Config file:

  • C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\Insomniac Games\Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered\crs

If you cannot find the Appdata folder, look for the steps to open it below. The configuration file is called “settings.dat”. It is a .dat file, which means you cannot edit it. It is a bummer because, with the help of a writable config file, a lot of changes can be made without opening the game. Which comes really handy during errors.

How to find the AppData folder

If the AppData folder is hidden for you, here is how to make it visible:

  1. Open any folder on your PC. It can be a new folder or an existing folder.
  2. Click on the View option at the top of the folder window
  3. There you will find a setting called “Hidden items”
  4. Check the box beside it

Now you can go back to C:\Users\Your username. And there you will find the AppData folder.
