Scorn Best Graphics Settings to fix Stuttering and FPS Drops

Scorn Best Graphics Settings – Scorn is one of the best-looking horror games released this year, and we have the best graphics settings for you so that you can have the best experience playing this game!

Scorn is a unique first-person action-adventure game developed by Ebb Software and published by Kepler Interactive. The game falls under the horror games category, and the events are said to happen in a nightmare universe where you will be able to experience strange forms around you.

The thing which drew me initially was the artwork. It was very different from what we have seen in mainstream horror titles, and this was the core reason I checked out the game in the first place.

The game has a unique full-body awareness, making the immersion much better and more realistic when picking up objects or interacting with the surroundings. However, you must be aware of the loadout because you must know the surroundings. During fights, you need to be strategic, and you will have to incorporate different playstyles to progress.

According to the latest Steam Hardware Survey, most AAA gamers still use their trusty old GTX 1650 or the GTX 1060. Although bitcoin mining is not prevalent anymore and the prices of the GPUs have gone down, but not by the margin that we expected, better GPUs like the RTX Series are still moderately higher priced, which becomes difficult for an average gamer to buy.

If you are one of those running one of those older GPUs, this article will guide you about the best Graphics Settings to fix stuttering and the significant performance issues catered towards gamers with low-medium end gaming rigs in Scorn.

Graphics Settings

Best Scorn Graphics Settings

  • Display Mode: Full Screen
  • Resolution – 2560×1440 [Set your native resolution]
  • Fidelity FX: Off [Keep it off for better performance]
  • Sharpness: As desired [I personally like to keep it at 0]
  • Motion Blur: Off [turning it on makes things blurry]
  • V-Sync: Off [turn it off for better performance]
  • Maximum Frame Rate: Unlimited [To prevent fps from capping]
  • Overall Quality: Custom
  • Visual Effects: Medium [Keep it medium for good visuals + performance]
  • Post Processing: Medium [Medium for better performance]
  • Shadows: Low [Always set it low as it demands the maximum resources]
  • Textures: Medium [This game needs a little texture for the experience]
  • Antialiasing: High [Has no effect on performance]

Considering how many times this game got delayed, I was expecting this to be a masterpiece on PC. So far, looking at the graphics settings, I can say that it is pretty lackluster.

    1. In Scorn, particularly, changing the AA didn’t bring any changes to the performance at the time this game was launched. Which was almost like 5 months ago.
