Persona 5 Strikers anti aliasing fix – The Anti-aliasing option in Persona 5 Strikers PC is not working as it is supposed to. Is there a fix? Let’s find out.
Persona 5 Strikers – Anti-aliasing Issue – Edges too jagged – How to fix
Anti-aliasing not working
Most of you should probably know by now, what is the job of the Anti-aliasing setting in games. It is a setting that is present in almost every game nowadays. Normally, you would expect that as soon as you turn on Anti-aliasing, the jagged edges or the jagged borders would get smoothened out. Unfortunately, that is not the case with the PC version of Persona 5 Strikers.
As soon as PC players started to play P5S, they realized that the borders or outlines of the characters in the game appear to be too jagged. And that the Anti-aliasing setting in the graphics settings menu does nothing.
A lot of games come with various AA options. Like FXAA, TAA, SMAA, etc. Sadly in P5S, you can only turn it off and on. This makes this issue even worse.
How to fix the Persona 5 Strikers Anti-aliasing issue
I noticed the horrible AA as soon as I started playing the game. After fiddling with the Graphics Settings for a bit I realized that they are completely useless in this case. So, here is what you need to do in order to fix it:
- Open Nvidia Control Panel
- Click on ‘Adjust image settings with preview’ from the left panel
- Set it to ‘Use the advanced 3D image settings’
- Now select Manage 3D settings from the left panel
- Click on the Program Settings tab
- Under ‘Select a program to customize’, select on Persona 5 Strikers or P5S.exe from the list. If it is not there then add it manually by click on ‘Add’ and then selecting P5S.exe from the installation directory
- Set:
Anisotropic Filtering to 16x
Antialiasing – FXAA to On
Antialiasing – Gamma correction to On
Antialiasing – Mode to Enhance the application setting
Antialiasing – Setting to 8x
Antialiasing – Transparency to 8x (supersample)
- Restart your PC (Just for the sake of it)
Note : Applying the Nvidia Control Panel settings mentioned above would greatly increase your GPU load. If you start noticing performance issues then I would suggest that you lower down the graphics settings of the game a bit.
