This guide will show you how to disable motion blur in Outriders PC.
How to Disable Motion Blur in Outriders
Outriders is finally available on Steam, and we have to say that the game has managed to garner some really good reviews from the community. People are really loving the mechanics and various features in the game.
That doesn’t stop the game from having technical issues though. Players were quick to notice that Outriders features some good amount of motion blur. The amount of motion blur is even higher during sprinting. Which is fine, as many developers include it in their games these days. It is not that big of a deal. The problem is, there is no option or setting in the Setting Menu to turn it off. So people are being forced to play the game with motion blur.
This is actually not good for the game, as motion blur is known to trigger motion sickness in users. Some people really hate it.
Does that mean there is no option at all to turn it off? Fortunately, there is.
How to disable motion blur
UPDATE : They have finally added a motion blur setting in the Settings menu. Just go to Options > Display. Turn off Motion Blur from there.
Here is how you can disable motion blur:
- Make sure the game and Steam is not running
- Go to “AppData\Local\Madness\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor”
- Open the Engine.ini file with notepad or any editor
- And put this at the bottom of it:
[SystemSettings]
r.MotionBlurQuality=0 - It should look like this:
- Save the changes
And that is all you need to do!
