Just a few days ago, Nvidia launched a new feature for their application GeForce Experience, called the Nvidia Freestyle. It lets you personally customize a game’s appearance and apply real-time post-processing filters. You can enhance color and contrast to make a game look the way you want. If you do not have any idea about Nvidia Freestyle then we would suggest checking this article first.
Nvidia Freestyle for Fortnite
Nvidia Freestyle is certainly a great feature to have. But, it has a list of supported games which is limited to only 100 titles at the moment. Sadly, Epic’s “Epic” free to play title, Fortnite, was not included. Instead, Nvidia released a dedicated update for Fortnite to their Geforce Experience application, where you can choose to save your memorable gameplay moments with the help of Shadowplay Highlights. But that was not what we were looking for. We were really looking forward to fiddle with the Freestyle settings in order to make Fortnite Battle Royale look more interesting. People who have hundreds of hours of gameplay in Fortnite might want to change some color and contrast settings here and there and make the game look different once in a while. Imagine the number of possibilities.
Even though there are few applications available online like the VibranceGUI that allows you to change the in-game vibrance level but that is not enough. To be able to fully control the color and contrast factor of a game is different thing altogether. But, we might not have to wait for a very long time in order to play with Nvidia Freestyle inside Fortnite. The fact that Nvidia released an update solely for Fortnite is a great sign. There is a very high chance for Fortnite being in the next list of games supported by Nvidia Freestyle. So hang on tight!
That’s all folks!
