Dead Island 2 Steam – The sequel to the original Dead Island, launched back in 2011, has finally received a sequel, which will be launching on the 21st of this month. The genre, of course, remains the same, with the game being a horror-survival classic. The expectations from the players are quite high, not to mention that players simply loved the original Dead Island, but when it comes to the sequel, only time will tell.
Dead Island 2 will feature an immersive co-op or single-player gameplay that’ll give you access to multiple characters as you progress through the storyline. Is Dead Island 2 on Steam?
Getting right to it, Dead Island 2 will NOT be available on steam as it launches. The same is due to the fact that it happens to be an epic games exclusive, so all the PC players need to get Epic Games Launcher in order to be able to purchase and play Dead Island 2. The game will be available for a number of platforms that include the PlayStation 4, The PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and finally, PC.
Another question that’s quite common is if the game would feature crossplay, and the answer is, unfortunately, no. The game’s creators have confirmed that Dead Island 2 will not be featuring Crossplay in Co-op mode, meaning, you and your buddy will have to be on the same platform to be able to play together. While that does happen to be inconvenient, the creators seem to have set the bar really high, once again, and only time will tell how this pans out.
