Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have received much hype since its release on the 18th of November, 2022.
It features an open world where you can explore the Paldea region, catch various kinds of Pokemons, evolve them using items, and even go on picnics! The game is available exclusively on Nintendo switch.
A lot of Paradox Pokemon are available in both of these games. Among them, the Pokemon Violet exclusive, the Ground/Steel-type Pokemon – Iron Treads, is simply one of the best out in Paldea.
This obviously has its reasons, that is, this Pokemon can face a load of damage and still stay strong, unlike the other pokemon when they face the high damaging attacks.

Iron Treads Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
As I mentioned earlier, Iron Treads is a Pokemon Violet Exclusive, so you need to have Violet in order to get this Pokemon. Also, Iron Treads is a post-campaign Pokemon, which means you need to watch the post-credits at least once, in order to unlock this Pokemon.
If you want to get Iron Treads in Pokemon Scarlet, then you will have to trade it from somebody who has Pokemon Violet. With that being said, here is the location of Iron Treads:
The place where you can get Iron Treads in the game is The Great Carter of Paldea Region. Here is all that you’ll need to do for this:
- Make sure that you complete the game’s Starfall Street, Path of Legends, and the Victory Road questlines.
- After doing the above, head to Zero Gate of the Paldea region, where you need to go to the Titan of Asado(Pocket Version) desert and catch it.
- This unlocks the Carter of the Paldea region.
- Enter through Zero Gate, interact with the teleporter and go to Research Station 4. Because this is the only location where Iron Treads spawns.
Iron Treads is a Ground/Steel type Pokemon, so to make the process of this capture easy, we recommend using a Fighting/Type Pokemon like Lucario so that they can deal with as much damage as it is possible.
If you have a Skeledirge, then you can just use your fire-type moves, because they are super effective on Iron Treads.
