Immortals Fenyx Rising is finally here, and the game is doing fairly well so far. It is a decent title with a huge open world for players to discover. You can call it a mixture of Zelda and Genshin Impact, as it has a lot of features similar to these titles. The story is completely different though.

That doesn’t mean that the game is perfect though. Immortals Fenyx Rising has it’s fair share of issues. A lot of players have already started complaining about issues like the crashing, constant crashes at startup and the infamous error code CE-34878-0 popping up every now on then on their PS4. Here are the issues that Immortals Fenyx Rising PC and PS4 players are experiencing along with some steps to fix them.

Crashing fix

Immortals Fenyx Rising is crashing for some users. Here are the things you can do to fix it.

Update your drivers and operating system to resolve any compatibility issues. This should be an obvious step by now. The newer the drivers are, the better will be their compatibility. Nvidia users can download the latest drivers from here or via GeForce Experience. AMD users can download the latest drivers from here.

Use your default clock speeds if you are using an overclocked GPU/CPU. An overclocked GPU or Processor could cause a lot of issues if it is not being able to draw enough power from the power supply unit.

Most of the game launchers nowadays offer ways to verify the game files of the games, which would repair the corrupted files that might be causing issues. Now the feature works in different ways in different launchers. Ubisoft Connect or Uplay users, Launch Ubisoft Connect > Go to “Games” Click on Immortals Fenyx Rising > Select Properties from the left bar > Look under the Local Files section > Select Verify Files.

Epic Games Launcher users, Launch Epic Games Launcher > Go to your Library >Take your mouse pointer on Immortals Fenyx Rising > Click on the Settings icon beside the Launch icon > Click on Verify > Restart the launcher after the process is completed.

Turn off Ubisoft Connect overlay. Go to Ubisoft Connect Settings > General > Uncheck “Enable in-game overlay for supported games” . Disable background programs for recording and screen capturing like Nvidia Highlights, Windows Background Recording, Rivatuner, etc. Create an exception in your Antivirus for Ubisoft Connect/Epic Game Launcher and ImmortalsFenyxRising.exe.

Some PS4 users are getting the Error Code CE-34878-0 in Immortals Fenyx Rising. Here are the things you can do to fix it.

Delete the saved game files from your system in Application Saved Data, then delete the game, and then rebuild the database. Depending on how much you have on your system, it could take a while. But in regards to time, it’s still less time than reinstalling all of your games.

The face recognition feature on the PS4 is a little buggy. It can cause games to crash with the error CE-34878-0. This is how we disable it. Go to Settings on you Console Menu > Select Login Settings > Uncheck the box beside Enable Face Recognition > Restart your PS4.
