How to unlock Sub Camp in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Unlock Sub-Camp in MHR Sunbreak – After a lot of hype and anticipation, the Monster Hunter Rise has finally released the Sunbreak Expansion that they have been teasing for a long time.

This new expansion improves upon many existing aspects while adding new and fresh content. The expansion features a new hub area called the Elgado Outpost. The expansion brings new enemies, monsters, and a better set of missions and quests. The game also updated its camera features and introduced the all-new Switch skill swap techniques.

The Sub Camps in Monster Hunter Rise are camps that are smaller in size and feature similar but lesser functionalities than a regular Base camp. These Sub Camps are primarily used for fast traveling, consuming edibles, changing your equipped equipment, and also accessing the Buddy Board. These sub camps can be used for fast travelling where you can traverse from one end of the map to another. It is an excellent addition to the game, saving time. You fast travel to the desired unlocked locations to farm resources and hunt monsters without travelling much.

You can also eat in these Sub-camps if you have not had anything before going on with the hunt to replenish your health. The sub-camps also feature item boxes where you can change your armor and weaponry, set up new decorations, restock your items, and switch your skills. You can access the Buddy board if you want to change your companion Palamute for the Palico.

The main difference between a sub-camp from the main camp is that it doesn’t have supply boxes. This means that you won’t be able to deliver the heavy items to sub-camps, and you have to go to the Base camps to give them. Also, you won’t be getting any free items during the quest at the Sub Camps.
