One of the best SMGs you can use in the game is the Minibak SMG. It is a submachine gun that features the characteristics of the PP-19 Bizon in real life. And Minibak SMG, just like the PP-Bizon, can shred your enemies because of its very high magazine capacity of 64.
This SMG can hold two rounds of the magazine, which makes it a total of 128 bullets. It can be a great companion regarding fire rate and mobility.

How to unlock Minibak SMG in Modern Warfare 2
You will be able to unlock the Minibak SMG by going making your way through the Gunsmith Progression. This is very similar to the other weapons in the game. But before unlocking the Minibak, you need first to have the base weapon unlocked, which is the Kastov 765.
All you need to do is go to Gunsmith and navigate to the Kastovia Platform. Although these are things, you should keep in mind while aiming to unlock the Minibak Submachine gun in COD MW2.
- First and foremost, you must unlock and level up the Base Weapon, Kastov 765 Assault Rifle, to 12.
- Once you get to level 12 with the 765, you will get the Kastov 545.
- Upgrade the 545 Kastov to level 13. With that, you will be able to unlock the Kastov 74U.
- Level up the Kastov 74U to 18.
- Once you reach level 18, you can unlock the Minibak SMG.
When you are leveling up the Kastov 74-U, you will also be able to unlock the Vaznev-9K when you reach level 17 with that weapon. So you will be able to get two guns while you progress towards the Minibak SMG, which is one of the core advantages of farming and grinding for this weapon.
Yes, it is pretty confusing for newer players because it claims in many forums that to unlock the Minibak SMG, you need to level up the Vaznev 9K weapon to level 14 but for us leveling up the Kastov 74U up to level 18 unlocked the Minibak SMG.

This is the build we are going with for the Minibak in COD MW2. But take these ideas as a formula to experiment with different attachments and make your builds that suit your playstyle.
- Stock: FT TAC-Elite Stock
- Magazine: Miniback Grip Mag
- Muzzle: XTEN Black Kite
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Optic: SZ Recharge-DX
- Secondary: Either a PILA or JOKR or X12
- Tactical: Either Stun Grenade or Flash Grenade or Stim
- Lethal: Thermite or Semtex
We are currently using these perks and upgrades. As said earlier, you can experiment with the different bonuses and make combinations.
- Base Perk: Double Time
- Base Perk II: Scavenger
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix or Survivor
- Field Upgrade: Battle Rage
- Field Upgrade 2: Munitions Box
Some known camos are available for this weapon, including Timber, Rattlesnake, Green Digital, and the Skyfire, which unlocks at weapon levels 2,6,10, and 14.
