Kiriko Overwatch 2 – One of the most anticipated PvP games of 2022 is finally here. Yes, I am most definitely talking about Overwatch 2.
As Overwatch 2 has just been released recently, till date only three main heroes have been introduced in the game. Two of them, namely Sojourn and Junker Queen will automatically be given to you as soon as you start playing the game.
The Third Hero, on the other hand, is a different story. To some, it’ll be given free, while some might have to unlock it.
Kiriko has some quite interesting abilities, so it’s justified that players show interest in the character. In this article by Frondtech, we’ll cover how you can unlock Kiriko if you haven’t already gotten it in the beginning.
How to unlock Kiriko in Overwatch 2
If you’re an Overwatch-veteran, as in if you’ve played the first version of Overwatch and are still on the same Battle.net account on the new game, you will receive Kiriko for free. Make sure you log in with the same battle.net accounts in a time frame of 2 months after the game’s release to receive your reward.
However, if you’re a beginner to Overwatch, or just playing using a new battle.net account you probably won’t have Kiriko. But do not worry, there are still a number of ways using which you could unlock the hero. More about it below:
- Paying for it
You could buy the premium battle pass which is going to be in the game for 9 weeks after its release. This’ll automatically unlock Kiriko.
The pass will cost you around 10 USD. Some people might term this pay-to-play, but it really isn’t so. You could also unlock the character for free!
- Not paying for it
If you’re just simply not willing to spend the $10, you can also unlock Kiriko for free. You’ll have to progress through the game’s free battle pass version and reach level 55 to unlock the hero.
