Unlock Ghost MW2 – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) was released on the 28th of October 2022, and we’ve got to say that infinity has put a lot of effort into this one.
The campaign mode includes 17 jaw-dropping missions with arguably one of the best storylines in any Call of Duty game.
If you’ve played the earlier versions of Call of Duty, especially the 2009 version of Modern Warfare 2, you’d be aware of an operator named “Ghost”.
Simon “Ghost” Riley was the protagonist for the O.G. MW2 and is a part of team 141. Ghost is also known for the skull balaclava, you should be able to differentiate between him and other operators with ease.
If you’re wondering if Ghost has been featured in the new Modern Warfare 2 2022, the answer to this question is, yes.
Ghost has been featured in the new MW2, however, there’s only one way you can unlock and play with Ghost, so here’s how you can do the same:
How to Unlock Ghost in Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer
Call of Duty’s Modern Warfare 2 (2022) has two editions that you can purchase. The first one’s the standard version which includes just the game and standard tiers as well as rewards, however, the other version, which is the Vault version has some goodies packed for you.
For starters, it does cost more than the standard version, of course ($99.99), but, if you do purchase the same, you’ll instantly unlock 50 tiers of the battle pass and get rewarded for the same. Additionally, you’ll also unlock all the operators which were part of the O.G. team 141, with the vault edition.
The vault edition of the game includes Ghost, so that’s how you’ll be able to unlock Ghost in MW2 (2022).
However, if you aren’t really looking forward to paying any amount for playing as operator Ghost, you’ll have to wait for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. It is confirmed by now that Ghost will be a free-playable character in Warzone 2.0.
Coming back to MW2, as of right now, there isn’t any other way in which you could obtain the Character Ghost, so we’d suggest you go with the Vault edition of the game to get a number of operators and some other stuff.
Finally, if you’re looking to try out the character ghost, we recommend that you play campaign mode for a while, you’ll come across ghost eventually.
