The very first question that needs to be answered is how you could get through the village itself, and the answer to it is pretty simple too. As you start your journey, you’ll witness the police officer that was assisting Leon to get burned to their demise, being alive. As horrifying as that is, what follows, isn’t. All you need to do after the same is to survive for a few minutes, until a bell goes off eventually. Once the same happens, every enemy that’s attacking you will stop and head into the tower. Consider this as an opportunity to escape!
Hold on. If you aren’t willing to wait for that long, there’s another way in which you could get done with this scene faster than you normally would. That could be done by first rushing into the village as everything starts and just skipping through enemies heading forward, not fighting them, until you reach the large house. Once you do, there’ll be a cutscene, and following the same, you’ll have to rush towards the top of the building and just jump out of the window towards your right. You’ll land on a platform from which you’ll be able to see the church and the bell. Now, just use a scoped weapon to shoot the bell. If you fail to avoid the enemies somehow, then use the Flashbang, which you had the opportunity to pick right before you entered the village.
If you do manage to hit it, everything will play out as it normally would, meaning everyone would head to the tower, and you’ll be able to make it out of there like you normally would.
Further, if you’re wondering how long the timer is or if you need to kill everyone in the village, we’ve got an answer for that too. For instance, you don’t have to eliminate everyone or a lot of enemies, either. The more you eliminate, the more show up. The smarter way here would be to just skip through the hordes at first and make your way to the far-end exit gate of the village. This’ll trigger the chainsaw man, with whom you’ll have to battle.
Also, the timer happens to be about 2 to 4 minutes, depending on the difficulty that you’re playing on. It also depends on whether you trigger the chainsaw man early or at the very end. The chainsaw man will make things tougher. For that, we recommend you get the shotgun that you’ll find on the first floor of a large building in the center of the village. Not only will the shotgun help you defend yourself against the villagers, but the chainsaw man too.
