Hogwarts Legacy is finally out on all major platforms, and the game has already claimed a spot to be a top contender for the Game of the Year 2023 title. It is amazing how well-made the game is and what it allows its players to do.
There is no doubt that Hogwarts Legacy has a ton of quests, and most of these quests, after you complete the early stages of the game, will have some sort of puzzles. The same is the case with The Helm of Urtkot quest. You will have to solve a good number of puzzles to progress through the quest. But, it is the last puzzle of the quest, that can send your brain for a spin. Here is how to solve the final moth puzzle in The Helm of Urtkot quest in Hogwarts Legacy:
How to solve the Puzzle in The Helm of Urtkot Quest in Hogwarts Legacy
During the quest, your job is to “Search the tomb for the helmet”. The Helm of Urtkot quest starts out with you meeting a Goblin named, Lodgok. He then leads you to a cave called The Collector’s Cave. Now, all you have to do is enter the cave, solve the puzzles, and move forward.
The puzzles at the start are pretty easy to solve. It is the final puzzle of the quest that is proving to be kind of tricky for a lot of people. When you enter the final puzzle room, here what the setup looks like.
- There is a Moth Lever in the middle.
- A platform that rises when you spin the lever.
- Two moth stands having one moth each on them at the bottom.
- Two moth stands having one moth each on them on the top of the platform.
- Finally, the door that gets unlocked with the moths.
Your job is to place three moths on that door, and open it. Which means you will have to take a moth from one of the stands at the bottom and place it on the door.
To do that, first take a moth from one of the stands at the bottom and place it on Moth Lever to activate it. Stand on the lift in front of the lever and cast Depulso on the lever to activate the lift and reach the top platform. Quickly cast Lumos to attract the moth from the right stand. You will have to do it before the lift automatically starts going down. Take the moth across the lift and place it on the door. Now take the moth from the stand beside the door, and it place it on the door. Time for the final moth.
Go down, and go to the left side of the platform. You will notice a moth stand unoccupied by any moth. This stand actually rises with the lift whenever you spin the Moth lever. Take the one moth that is left at the bottom, and place it on that stand.
Now, stand on that lift again, and spin the Moth Lever to reach the top. Quickly go to the left side, and attract that moth using Lumos from the stand that has risen with the lift. Finally, place it on the door to open it.
There you go. You have now successfully solved The Helm of Urtkot puzzle. Now, go inside the room, and collect the Signet Ring. Finally, return to Lodgok to complete the quest.
