Dying Light 2 skip intro – This guide will show you how to skip the intro videos and the logos in the Steam version of Dying Light 2.
Dying Light 2 is finally here, and it is getting more popular by the minute. People seem to be really enjoying the game. Apart from a few technical errors, the game actually is decent, if you ask me. Anyway, let’s talk about what you came here for.
I know a lot of you might be asking, “Can we skip the intros?”. The simple answer to this would be, yes, you can skip the videos. And it totally makes sense because the Techland video plays every time the game is launched, followed by a series of logos of Nvidia, ROG, etc. And the worst part is there is no option to skip them in-game. This is really frustrating because it feels like we are being forced to watch them every time.
How to skip the intro
Well, since Techland didn’t bother to provide any simple or straightforward method to skip the intro, I had no other choice but to fiddle with different Steam Launch Options. Fortunately, I did find one that works. If you are a Steam user, here is what you need to do:
- Go to your Steam Library
- Right Click on Dying Light 2
- Select Properties
- Now, inside the “LAUNCH OPTIONS” box, type “-nologos”. This what it is supposed to look like:
Enter the command, and start the game. You will land directly on the main menu, skipping everything, that was supposed to show up before that. And that is all you need to do.
