Forspoken has finally been released, and players are jumping into the game with a lot of detours to take and has a huge story for you to experience. To say it simply, it is a long game, and you are bound to enjoy it. With that, Square Enix has a habit of rather adding lots of cutscenes to the game, and often it feels like a little too much for someone to watch patiently. In the case of Forspoken, the complaint is more towards the beginning stages of the game when all you want to do is explore the world of Athia and what it offers you. Although a lot of players prefer hanging onto each and every word that the characters say, a lot of the other players just want to skip ahead and jump into the gameplay. Hence, the following guide helps you know how you can skip the cutscenes in Forspoken. Keep reading ahead!
How to Skip Cutscenes in Forspoken
Although Square Enix does what it does, it is also one of the better companies that let you skip or pause the cutscenes. Like Final Fantasy games that allow you this at your own leisure. This basically is a big help if you want to go grab a snack or get to the action quickly. Exactly like Final Fantasy, Forspoken also allows you to skip or pause the cutscenes at your leisure.
This is rather simple. All that you have to do is press the ESC button if you are playing on your PC and press the Options button if you are playing on your PS5. When you do this, a menu will show up with a list of various options for you to choose from. You will find the skip option there itself. Select it, and the cutscene will be completely skipped.
While a lot of times you want to skip the whole scene, but there are also times when you want to forward, just by a bit. To do this, the interact button on your PS5, that is the X button, would help you do so. It would skip through the dialogue and thus would make it possible for you to get through the cutscenes faster without skipping everything.
That is all there is to know about how to skip cutscenes in Forspoken.
