A lot of players have been wondering if they can respec their skills and how they can do so, with the launch of Diablo 4. Choosing the right skills for shaping their build is very important, and this is known by Veteran Diablo players. Now, in the game, you have a huge variety of skills that you can choose from, so there is quite a big scope of making mistakes while you choose them.
Additionally, you might even want to try each one of them and get to know the workings of each one of them. If you want to do such, then knowing how you can reset skill points and ranks is of the essence. The following guide covers all about how you can reset skills in Diablo 4. Keep reading to find out!
How can you Reset skills in Diablo 4 – Respec
- In order to respec skills in the game, Diablo 4, you need to first open your Skill Tree.
- Then, you need to select the ‘Refund All’ option at the bottom of your screen.
- Doing so will reset all of your skills. A beneficial thing is that you will receive all of your skill points back.
Additionally, the game also enables players to reset just a single skill. To do it:
- You will have to simply hover over the skill that you want to reset and then right-click on it. Doing so will reset that skill, and you will receive your skill points back.
However, there’s a catch to it. We know that the skill tree has various branches to it. The game does not allow you to refund a skill that’s got dependencies. So, if you want to reset such a skill that has dependencies, you will have to reset all of those dependencies first.
However, this seems very great, but trust us, it’s easier said than done. If you want to respec on the higher levels, then you will have to spend gold. You can respec for free only till level 7. Once you have passed level 7, the price of the resetting points increases quite drastically, and this continues as you keep going on higher in the game. This soft block is said to be added to the game, as said by a developer, to make the players value the choices they make. This also means that you can respec, but only for a limited number of times in a day. So, do plan your gold budget before you head on to respec.
That pretty much sums up all that there is to know about how to reset skills in Diablo 4. Stay tuned with us for further updates!
