How to Pop Balloons in Hogwarts Legacy

This task is pretty straightforward and rather simple. Make sure that you have the Broom unlocked. This is done when you complete the quest ‘Flight Test’. After which, you can buy a broom at Spintwitches Sporting Needs for 600 Gold in exchange. After obtaining the broom, use it and make your way to the balloons. Remember not to fly too fast as you might miss your target. You need to fly straight towards the balloons and hit it to pop them. Once you do hit them, they will pop.

If you are new to flying with the broom, do not fear. Here is how to use it. For PC, use the Tab button and ‘3’ to summon your broom. Use Space for ascending up (flying up) and CTRL for descending. For controls, use the common movement controls, and for a boost in your speed, use left click. For Xbox, press the buttons LB and B to equip the broom, whereas the PS players need to use L1 and circle.

Popping the balloons helps you get Experience points too. This is not just it. You will also get a few of the cosmetics (for your broom). This includes the Wild Fire Broom, among various others. The more important bit is the Glacius Spell that you get from Madam Kagawa. You will be required to pop 5 balloons each above both Hogsmeade Station and Quidditch Pitch. This spell is rather strong and allows you to freeze enemies or objects.

So just pop a few balloons in the game, and you have a spell that can turn tables for you in a fight.
