What makes these kinds of games thrilling is challenging enemies, therefore, you as a player also need some stuff that you could use to defend yourself and also items to heal. For healing and restoring your health and stamina exists the Wiggenweld Potions. However, for dealing damage and stunning your enemies for a few seconds, you have the Thunderbrew potion.
The prerequisite for making this potion are the following items mentioned below that you need to collect:
- Shrivelfig Fruit x1
- Stench of the Dead x1
- Leech Juice x1
All of these items can be purchased from J. Pippin’s Potion Shop at Hogsmeade. Additionally, you can also purchase seeds of Shrivelfig fruit and grow them. Leech juice can be found near water. Finally, by eliminating Inferi at the Collecter’s Cave, you can get the Stench of the dead.
Once you have all the above-mentioned items, you can either brew Thunderbrew in the Potions Classroom of the Room of Requirements. Make sure that you have attended your first Potion class, as you can only unlock brewing after that. It is not possible before you do the above.
Alternatively, Thunderbrew potion can also be bought from J. Pippin’s Potion Shop at Hogsmeade in exchange for 1000 gold. Yes, it is a bit expensive, and if you do not have enough gold, then you also have the option to sell your loot chests or your gear to get gold in return for them.
